Yellow Fever Vaccination

You can get a yellow fever vaccination(fiebre amarilla vacunacion)in David at the Ministerio de Salud (Ministry of Health) located in the old looking complex on a corner across the road from the Hospital Cattan a few blocks east of the main bus terminal. It is a large sprawling set of buildings that look Spanish colonial style. Drive in and follow the road to the right around the rear of the last building...it is hard to find, but if you ask for the Medico Epidemiologo office, you will be able to locate it. The cost is $5 payable on the spot and you should receive a Certificados Internacionales de Vacunacion detailing the origin and batch number of the vaccine. Take your passport with you.

If you're not driving, just tell the a taxi driver to take you to the morgue. It's right across the alley.
